This small unit is located in southwestern Wyoming, south of Highway 28. This area is largely void of dense vegetation with the exception of the thick willows along the Green River. Most of the moose will be found in the river bottom areas.
Smaller populations of moose are found here but moose tned ot be hihgly concetrated and will generally not pose too much issue for hunters.
This area is made up mainly of river bottoms with sagebrush ridge sides. The highest points in this unit can be found in cliffs overlooking the Green River.
This unit consists of BLM land with a few ranch lands that have good public access. Most roads are marked with BLM signs. This area is located east of Sweetwater County Road 5 and 8, west of Highway 372 and north of Interstate 80.
The majority of the area is dominated by willows and cottonwood trees.
Hunters can camp on the BLM land within the unit with no permit required. Lodging at multiple motels can be found just south of the unit in Green River.
