This unit consists of urban, suburban and desert terrain that mostly surrounds Unit 25M, which includes most of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Farm land is common in the southern portion of the unit. Mule deer and javelina hunters are restricted to using archery gear and may not hunt near homes or buildings. The Gila Indian Reservation makes up a significant section of the central portion of this unit.

Rural unit found near greater Phoenix area. Hunters who know this unit will find a few mature desert mule deer and numerous javelina. Since this is technically a metro unit, be sure to consult the most recent regs to familiarize yourself with where it is both lawful and unlawful to hunt.

Mostly urban landscape with low desert terrain and foothills. Several braided washes intersect the terrain.

This unit includes several cities and towns, such as Chandler, Gilbert, Apache Junction, Casa Grande, Eloy and Maricopa. Hunting is prohibited with a quarter-mile of occupied structures. Access to hunting grounds is limited.

Lower Sonoran desert with creosote, mesquite and cactus.

Few areas are open to camping. There are no public campgrounds, but several RV parks and private campgrounds are in the metro area along with many motels and hotels.
