Located northwest of Green River. Interstate 70 is the southern boundary with the Utah/Colorado state line being the eastern Boundary. There is great access and an overall good antelope population which make this a very good unit.

This unit has a lot of public land and the antelope are spread out on the unit. Antelope can be found in the flats on the south end of the unit along I-70. This unit can be hard to draw due to popularity among the antelope hunters. This is not a strenuous hunt and good access can be found throughout the unit.

The majority of the antelope terrain will be low-elevation flats with sage brush-covered rolling hills. This part of Utah has many mesas and plateaus with some rolling hills. Some pinyon/juniper patches that will checker the flats and small hills. There are some isolated drinkers and stock ponds that the antelope will use as water sources. Hunters will be able to glass and cover large tracts of country. There is good road access to this area and hunters can travel the unit in either ATVs or vehicles.

There is great access to the lower elevations parts of this unit where the antelope will be found. Many good dirt roads and a high number of two-track ATV trails can be used to navigate the unit. There are good antelope numbers throughout this unit and hunters will want to use the roads to cover the unit. Good access from Interstate 70 with many hunters using the Book Cliffs road, the Cottonwood Canyon road and the Cunningham’s road to access antelope country. Weather conditions should not impede a hunter’s ability to access the unit.

The high elevations contain ponderosa pines, fir trees, and aspen. Mid-elevations have pinyon/juniper, manzanita, grass meadows, and sagebrush. The lower elevations have pinyon/juniper, sagebrush, oak brush, grasses, and other browse.

Green River has lodging, gas, groceries and other supplies. Camping is permitted on most public land.
